The ACO Guss Group currently employs around 380 people in the fields of machine mold casting, continuous casting and construction casting at various locations in Germany, Austria, Denmark and South Africa.
With 75,000 tons of molten iron per year, ACO Guss is a high-tech and sustainable company based in Kaiserslautern and is one of the leading iron foundries in Europe.
Our qualified employees produce sophisticated castings, such as brake disks for rail vehicles, transmission parts for drive technology and hydraulic elements, the ACO Eurobar quality continuous casting or construction castings for infrastructure.
ACO Guss has always attached great importance to environmentally friendly and resource-saving production. This is why we continuously invest in modernizing our plants and optimizing our processes. In addition to certification to DIN ISO 9001 and DIN ISO14001, we have significantly reduced CO2 emissions and energy consumption with the certification of our energy management system to DIN ISO 50001. When developing new innovative materials, ACO Guss pursues the goal of offering alternatives to steel and other valuable materials. The lower weight is a decisive advantage here. And by the way: cast iron is 100% recyclable!
